Making brands worth talking about.

↓

I study marketing at Tulane and spent this summer as a hospitality PR intern at Magrino, working on luxury hotel, food and home accounts. Before that I did sales at VINView, a software startup that was acquired by Overhaul. I enjoy the strategy behind a brand as much as the story it tells.

Coastal Shindig social media campaign

A mock Instagram campaign for the pre-order of Coastal Shindig, an entertaining book by Michael Harold and Quinn Peeper.

The challenge

Drive pre-orders for a hosting book before its September release, on Instagram.

My role

I defined who each post was for, then wrote and designed three Instagram posts and a reel.

Result

Class project. I'd measure saves, link clicks and pre-orders from each post.

Key decisions
  • Sold hosting moments, not the book: each post focused on one occasion
  • Ended every caption with the pre-order link and hosting hashtags
  • Matched the book's bright, coastal look so the feed felt like the book

Breitling differentiation strategy

We looked at whether Breitling's premium pricing still covers what it costs to stand out. It does, but the margin for error is getting smaller.

The challenge

Breitling's sales fell 11% as costs rose. Is its premium, different-from-the-rest strategy still worth it?

My role

I led the customer research: who buys Breitling, how that buyer differs from TAG Heuer and Omega buyers, and how price-sensitive they are.

Result

Concluded the strategy still pays, but the margin is shrinking, and recommended shifting toward growth markets.

Key decisions
  • Kept the differentiation strategy: buyers still pay more for Swiss craftsmanship, COSC certification and aviation heritage
  • Shift targeting toward growth markets like India and women buyers
  • Flagged the risk: revenue fell 11% and the margin cushion is shrinking

Dat Dog repositioning

Dat Dog already had healthy options on its menu, but none of the people we interviewed knew. We planned how to change that.

The challenge

Dat Dog had healthy menu options, but none of the people we interviewed knew about them.

My role

I led the target audience shift, using our customer interviews to define the new health-conscious diner we wanted to reach.

Result

Class project with a ~$5,300 plan, presented to Dat Dog's founder. I'd measure lettuce-wrap orders, Eat Fit item sales and event sign-ups.

Key decisions
  • Presented our repositioning to Dat Dog's founder and advised on business incentives
  • Changed who Dat Dog talks to, not its prices: health-conscious diners
  • Added a lettuce-wrap swap to every item and Eat Fit labels instead of new dishes
  • Spread the word through a Tulane event, gym partnerships and wellness creators on a ~$5,300 budget
CEO · Live website · 2026

CampusScoop

A website where Tulane students post the advice they wish someone had given them about dorms, classes, restaurants and the city.

The challenge

Tulane students had no trusted place to share honest, practical advice about campus life without it turning into gossip.

My role

CEO. I lead CampusScoop: who it's for (current Tulane students), the rules and categories, the moderation process and the brand.

Result

A fully functional live site with consistent growth of about 10 new users a day.

How I used AI I built the site with AI coding tools (Claude Code). I decided the rules, categories, moderation process and brand voice myself.

Key decisions
  • Wrote the rules before launch, so the site is honest about Tulane without becoming a place to go after people
  • Every post is read by a student moderator before it goes up; nothing publishes automatically
  • Students post with a Tulane email that never appears on the site, which keeps it anonymous but accountable
  • Split reviews into on-campus and off-campus so students find what they need fast

Brand positioning: SchiaparelliBrand Management · Team of 4 · 2026

Our team wrote positioning statements for Maison Margiela, Levi's, Miu Miu and Schiaparelli. I focused on Schiaparelli.

Key decisions

  • Targeted ultra-high-net-worth clients, art patrons and cultural figures who value originality over logos
  • Set Schiaparelli against Iris Van Herpen: surrealist, human storytelling versus futuristic tech couture
  • Positioning: Schiaparelli is for confident, artistically minded people who want surrealist couture that turns fashion into wearable art

My role

I owned Schiaparelli: its target customer, competitors, points of parity and difference, and its positioning statement.

Austin Rhythm: a WNBA expansion teamSports Marketing · Team of 4 · 2026

We proposed a new WNBA team in Austin, Texas, and planned who it would sell to and how.

Key decisions

  • Picked Austin: fast growth, a median age of 34 and no NBA, NFL, MLB or NHL team
  • Named the team Rhythm to tie basketball to Austin's live music identity
  • Built a Central Texas fan base with a Dallas Wings rivalry and outreach to former San Antonio Stars fans

My role

I worked on audience targeting: profiling the four fan segments and how to reach each one.
